West Elm was born in Brooklyn, New York, and has over 100 stores in the United States alone, but it’s truly a global design company with many stores worldwide. (Did you know we ship to 90+ countries?) We’ve loved taking you all around the globe this year on Front + Main, tackling design projects from Canada to Australia and everywhere in between. Below, check out our five most popular home tours from outside the U.S.!

1. Victoria, Australia – A Mid-Century Mountain Getaway at Hotham Holidays Penthouse

West Elm Australia‘s Design Crew partnered with Hotham Holidays to transform an exclusive penthouse apartment in the Victorian Alps into the coolest cabin on the slopes. Located in the southeast corner of Australia, Mount Hotham is the country’s highest alpine village, and is one of only a handful of ski resorts in the world nestled on top of a mountain. The Design Crew transformed it into a mid-century getaway with a bold color palette and metallic accents everywhere. See the full tour here!

2. Toronto, Canada – Tour Matt Benfield + Omar Ahmed’s Colorful Desert Oasis

The West Elm Toronto Design Crew made a cozy desert-inspired oasis for Matt Benfield (@mr.benfield), Omar Ahmed (@omartakespix) and their pup Yvie. A faux cactus and fun outdoor furniture for their wraparound porch keeps them feeling sunny even through cold Canadian winters. See the full tour here!

3. South of England, U.K. – Pops of Pink + Plenty of Plants In An 1899 Edwardian Home

When in doubt, just add more plants. That’s the motto of U.K.-based illustrator and product designer Rachel Harrison. On her Instagram (@onrshop) and YouTube channel, OH NO Rachio!, Rachel shares her day-to-day adventures as a creative business owner, plant enthusiast and new mama to her 10-month-old son, River. She gave us a tour of her sunny South of England home, an Edwardian brick house in Hampshire built in 1899, that she shares with her husband, Jack, and two kitties named Momo + Luna. 4. Byron Bay, Australia – Inside Home Stylist Mr. Jason Grant’s New Digs

One of Australia’s most well-known interior stylists, Jason Grant, gave us a peek inside his new home – a massive warehouse space that’s equal parts work, home and creative studio. See the full tour here!

5. Hertford, U.K. – Artist Vickie Neave’s New Family Room Is For Grown-Ups, Too

It’s all too easy for a “family room” to skew heavily towards the younger members of the fam, becoming more of a functional or cluttered space than a stylish one. As kids grow up, though, it’s a great time to take another look at that room and decide where it should go. That’s what UK-based blogger and print artist Vickie Neave (also known as INPO: In No Particular Order) decided to do when she teamed up with the West Elm Design Crew in partnership with @westelmuk.
