DeVonn Francis, founder and creative director of Yardy, knows a thing or two about how to throw a dinner party. Having grown up and worked in the culinary industry, DeVonn wanted to create a space in the food world that celebrates Caribbean culture and the Queer community.

Yardy is a production company that focuses on making meaningful stories through food and through art. DeVonn says its mission is born out of a desire to create and stage experiences that recognize the dinner table as an indelible site for artistic and social engagement, bringing people together to explore heritage and encourage play while prioritizing the communal and familial. It’s time for everyone to have a seat at the table.
