The old saying “gets better with age” rings true for numerous things—like this 100-year-old Shaker-style home in the Heritage Hills neighborhood of Oklahoma City. The home, built in 1917, has recently undergone a major facelift, while still keeping its historic features that hold so much character intact. Homeowners Holly and Evan Bray, along with their two children, recently moved into remodeled home and soon after sought out the design help of Judith Todd, lead home stylist at the west elm Oklahoma City location.

“The Brays were an absolute delight to work with. We had a freshly remodeled space as our canvas to start designing around. One thing the family wanted to incorporate into the home was their love for Mid-Century style. They really have so many unique vintage pieces that pair perfectly with west elm’s modern aesthetic. I love when we can mix + match and make the space come to life,” Judith says. “My favorite design addition to the space would have to be the matching pair of Worn Velvet, Olive Carlo Mid-Century Chairs! They’re an immediate conversation piece for the main living room.”
