Property in Palm Springs is a hot commodity these days, with people flocking to the Southern California desert town for retreat + relaxation. Recently, the Design Crew at west elm Palm Springs gave us a peek at a couple of their favorite projects they’ve been working on. Each of these home away from homes have a rich history that’s brought to life with mid-century design and pops of color.
Pretty in Pink – yes, the name totally lives up to its blush-tastic vibe! Stylist Francie Flynn helped furnish the vintage inspired Palm Springs rental property using west elm’s staple mid-century inspired furniture pieces with the main focus being pops of pink in varying tones. And to top it off, the villa has a backyard view of a golf course.
Extra bright color was embraced in the following two condo spaces featured from the Ocotillo Lodge – once a premier luxury destination for Hollywood’s elite with the likes Doris Day, Lucille Ball, and Marilyn Monroe. For the interior details, Joey Kell from the west elm Palm Springs team utilized modern pieces that highlighted the vibrant hues, all while keeping the idea of social entertaining at the forefront. Cheers to that!
