We photographed part of our Summer 2017 collection in Miami, a city that is quickly stealing our hearts. One of our favorite spots in this culturally rich melting pot was the foodie heaven, Wynwood Yard. Founded by Della Heiman, this culinary and cultural incubator is home to food trucks, live music, an edible garden, and cocktails at The Bar at The Yard. Della was kind enough to share one of the bar’s “Blackthorn,” a cocktail that mixes whiskey with lime juice, blackberries, and whiskey. Cheers!
1 ½ oz whiskey
¾ oz lime juice
3/5 oz simple syrup
3-4 fresh blackberries
Muddle blackberries and rosemary leaves. Add whiskey, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake + strain into a small cup. Garnish with blackberry and a spring of Rosemary.
