Set beneath a row of olive trees and a tablescape full of fall blooms, this year’s FEED Supper was a sight to behold. Hosted by Jenni Kayne and Candace Nelson, the event was part of the FEED Supper campaign to raise 2 million meals by World Food Day on October 16th. Friends gathered around an extra-long table and dined under the stars in the breathtaking backyard of Candace Nelson, founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes. Pizzana provided the evening’s Italian-inspired menu complete with shared appetizers and Neapolitan-Style pizzas.
For those unfamiliar, FEED was founded by Lauren Bush Lauren who, after seeing the alarming number of children around the world without access to the proper food they needed, felt that something more could be done to fight against world hunger. Each FEED product has a number on it which signifies the amount of meals or micronutrient packets provided by the purchase. Jenni Kayne, the Los Angeles designer and friend of Lauren Bush Lauren, hosts a dinner to support the cause + bring awareness to World Hunger Day.
