The meeting of creative minds can be a beautiful thing and Emily Jeffords & her husband Daniel’s South Carolina home is a shining example of just that. Along with their two little girls and Max the bunny, their downtown condo in the city of Greenville is the perfect blend of their individual aesthetics with lots of artwork, clean-lined furniture, gender-neutral textiles, and as many plants as they can keep alive. Check out their space below!
“As an artist and oil painter, I think of my home a lot like a canvas. White walls are the perfect place to allow intentional moments of color and texture to really shine.”
“Our home has evolved slowly, as we have grown together through all the changes of life as newlyweds, new parents, career shifts, cross-country moves, and all the other things that make a house into a home. We purchase pieces of furniture and decor that we really love and when it feels right. Taking time to let our home unfold naturally has also let us fall in love with it, settle into it, and to grow along with it.”
“These rooms only feel beautiful because, within them, we find peace – each in our own ways. Within these walls there is forgiveness and safety from judgement, communication, and a whole lot of love.”
“Our goal is to create a space where our busy lives can come to a quiet whisper when needed, but a space that is also perfect for impromptu dance parties with the little girls and dinner parties with friends.”
“To create a space that feels fresh, inspiring, and beautiful; these are my biggest design aspirations.”
