With less than 700 square feet to use, blogger and photographer Jennifer Chong had to be strategic about every decision she made when decorating her new apartment. She decided it was time to separate her workspace from her living space (she used to use her kitchen table as her desk) by opting for smaller, designated areas for each. A smaller desk means a more manageable work area, and a separate dining table means a place to enjoy meals with her boyfriend. See how Jennifer finds balance between her work and her life in her bright + sunny apartment:

“The space is small, less than 700sq feet, but we love how it has come together. We want to add a lot more plants and hang some artwork up but it’s a work in progress!”

“I had a really large desk before that I was also using as a make shift dinner table for one – so needless to say it was time to upgrade to a real dinner table, and downsize to a manageable desk size.”
