We’ve come to the end of our 12 days of Christmas table styling inspo with our friends from across the pond in the UK. To round out the series, Geraldine Tan of Little Big Bell shows us how to host the most perfect festive tea party filled with pink and gold and lots of florals.

“I wanted to create a pre-Christmas tea party with bubbly and mince pies. I decided to go for my favourite colours of pink and gold to add some girly glamour and sparkle. I have picked a look that is celebratory but can still be utilised beyond Christmas.”

“The good thing about not using conventional colours of Christmas is that you could re-use this look for other occasions. New Year’s eve is not that far round the corner right? Change the colour of the flowers, and you have an instant new look.”

“It was intentional that I decorated my table in no set order. The napkins were styled differently at each place setting, the side plates were scattered, some to the side and some layered with the larger plates.

To me, festive means fun with no set rules.”
