Halfway through our 12 Days of Christmas series and Cate St Hill takes the reins today to show us her festive table.
“For my table styling I went for a forest theme, with lots of soft, muted colours, foraged greenery and natural materials. I wanted the table to look relaxed, informal, cosy and warm. Traditionally at home we gather lots of holly and ivy from the nearby woods to rustle up a centrepiece for the Christmas table. As a take on this, I created height with various sized vessels filled with softly scented eucalyptus and other leaves, and scattered these charming bottle brush trees in the middle of the table. A touch of sparkle is added with some shimmering tea light holders. Little accents of greenery, tucked into napkins or adorning brown paper wrapped presents, complete the scheme.”
