Monochrome Mid-Century

“When it comes to creating an entryway,” Anne says, “I identify the major elements the area should have and then plug stylistically appropriate items into the template. I start with a rug to anchor the space, then add art or a mirror on the wall to focus the eye. I then place a medium-sized piece such as a chair, a planter, or a drum table next to the console to fill the space a bit more. Finally, small objects such as books, vases, and decor accents add personality and finish the look.”
