Since 2013, we’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Minted, an online marketplace and community of artists dedicated to providing affordable, beautiful art for the home. We now have over 125 pieces in our collection, each created by an independent artist. One of these talents is Christine Llewellyn, a Brooklyn-based watercolorist whose work draws from nature, textile design, her travels, and her upbringing as a native New Yorker. Partly hand-drawn on paper and partly digitally manipulated, Christine’s abstract works meld old school technique with modern production methods. Recently, Christine invited us into her studio and was kind enough to give us a glimpse into her creative process. Check out the video of our studio visit below!
