small dining room west elm furniture style design decorate entertain room

We previously shared a Before & After of Sarah + Darren’s Living Room transformation but we also wanted to show you how they made the most of their teeny-tiny dining nook…

This dining area is small and very awkward because it has hallways on either side. The space should only house a square table (we found that out after first buying a rectangular one) and slim chairs. The rug adds color and texture to the space and will be easy to swap out if a change is desired — which given my addiction to new patterns and prints, it will be!

Behind the table was a quirky, tall and narrow built-in bookcase. I built a living plant wall to bring in that indoor/outdoor feel we love so much.

Thanks Sarah!
