Monroe Trades

Patrick Glynn
Brooklyn

After moving to New York in 2011, I became inspired by the life, energy, and unique culture of each individual neighborhood in the city. My work reflects my love of the city. I started building furniture for my apartment after moving to New York with two suitcases and a thirst to create. Once people started showing interest in my work, I began selling on Etsy. After a short while, I decided to turn my work into a business.

I create: rustic colored hooks, industrial-style coffee tables, and end tables
I use: industrial pipes and distressed wood
Favorite local hangout: Supper, New York Iron Works Salvage Yard
We believe design should be: colorful, aged, and functional
