Decision making can be hard. But sometimes, when everything seems to align just right, nothing more is needed than a snap judgment and a quick gut check. When Sara Karkenny and her fiancé found themselves standing in front of an ivy-festooned Bungalow in Los Angeles, they didn’t need to hesitate. After an exhaustive search for their post-nuptial home, they know that this was it. One look at this Craftsman-Style guesthouse and there is no question why.

“[It] sits perfectly between our favorite farmer’s market and the sea,” Sara says. “As ocean-lovers and natural food enthusiasts, it was literally the perfect spot for us.” Location aside, the small home is charming to boot. The exterior contains a large brick patio; the interior, shuttered windows and exposed beams. Combined with Sara’s interior decorating talents (she works as a Home Stylist for west elm LA), the home has an effortlessly magical quality. As far as decisions go, choosing this home was a no-brainer. Take a peek at the full space and shop the look below!
