Given the industrious history of Nashville, it should come as no surprise that the city’s businesses are shining examples of creative energy and collaborative spirit. Take Bar Luca, a bespoke cocktail bar in East Nashville. “We wanted to create a bar that we wanted to drink in,” the restaurant’s Marketing consultant Abi Hewitt says, “so we asked people we knew who were experts in their fields to come together and devise the concept and plans. We are by the community, for the community.” From a beautifully designed space by Powell Architects to furnishings handcrafted by west elm LOCAL maker Matt Alexander, it’s a testament to what can happen when you bring creatives together.
