I have been doing it almost this way for many years, EXCEPT…I never thought about using the pillowcases as a way to get it all into a compact and almost perfectly straight rectangle. Thanks for this idea. Now I can’t wait to wash the sheets to try this.

the over sized kings are impossible to fold like that, any tips?

August 23, 2014

You make it looks so easy! Even knowing this trick, I STILL end up with a tangled mess (but then, I’m not the most coordinated person in the world…haha). However, I love the idea for keeping sets together in a pillowcase! I will definitely start doing that!

I just roll them over my arm, and push them into a pillow case. I don’t have the sheet police coming to my house to look into the linen closet..never did never will.

Execellent Video ! For all those people who are not related to my crazy sisters who do everything

perfectly even getting up at night to make sure all the linen is flush and all white towels.

I am normal and I do attempt to make the sheets looks as perfect as this video some how, my linen just
doesn’t ever measure up to family standards. But those people who have no idea about proper folding this was an excellent video, plus the merchandise was gorgeous , perhaps one day I will have a little extra to purchase items like this video. Yes, my all my sisters have perfect linen closets, I am the misfit, but I do keep trying even with my ugly no thread count linens. I love how to videos that are super easy and fun to see all the pretty merchandise.

after folding the fitted sheet fold the top sheet… thenfold the pillow cases and place the fitted sheet and pillow cases in middle of the top folded sheet. Keeps everything togather neatly.

January 25, 2015

Never thought to put it in a pillow case. Great idea.

Here all along I thought I was the only one that was frustrated over this. I had given up trying. A simple challenge in life…but it makes one smile none the less. Thank you.

January 27, 2015

Don’t look easy to me. I put ’em in a loose ball and roll ’em like a newspaper. When I put them on, I pull ’em real tight and pull the few wrinkles out. You can’t tell they weren’t folded.

I actually learned this a long time ago watching the movie “Mr. Mom” with Michael Keaton in it…..He teaches the neighborhood ladies how to fold a fitted sheet just like you showed in the video!!! It has made laundry a lot easier for me through the years!!!! Thanks!!!! (if this were a tweet I would post “#IHATELAUNDRYANDGROCERYSHOPPING”!!!!)

February 8, 2015

I will try this method of folding fitted sheets because it is very frustrating trying to fold a fitted sheet and make it look half way decent. This lady made it look quite easy. If it really is this easy I want to thank her ahead of time.

I work in a hotel where I get to fold as many sheets as humanly possible every day. Your video mistakenly shows the folding begin with two corners from the same end of the sheet. This results in a long, ungainly fold that is hard to connect to the other end after both have one corner tucked inside another.

Much better is to start with two corners on the same side but opposite ends of the sheet. Then the sheet is short enough after one fold to maneuver and manipulate readily.

February 18, 2015

Thank you. . I’m a house cleaner and it is one the easiest things to do. even with a California king size fitted sheet. My bosses hate the fact that I can do without help.

February 21, 2015

Thanks for the tip about storing the sheet in a pillowcase. I didn’t know about that. I do fold my fitted sheets the way you showed, but the don’t always come out as even as yours. However, great tip about the pillowcase.

I’d like to know if there’s a special way to clean my kitchen counter tops. I have black granite tops and they show every little bit of dirt. I’ve tried using Clorox wipes, hot water, and soap. Nothing seems to get all the spots. Any suggestions?

Folding a king size sheet is easy if you lay it down to do it. Not in the air as pictured.
When it is flat, it is easy to walk to each corner to join them (like this video shows in the air)
Just follow these directions with your king size sheet laying on the bed. Double bed sheets can be done this way also.

July 25, 2015

I like to fold the pillowcases in with folded and flat sheet to make 1 bundle. Then when I grab bundle to make the bed, I have everything together

What if all sides have the elastic? It’s such a pain to try to fold those (some of my son’s twin sheets are like that) I have been folding fitted sheets like this since I was a teenager and the lady I babysat for showed me this back in the late 70’s.
