Vignette Your Way To Insta-Stardom
To celebrate the opening of our brand new store in Sydney’s Chatswood Chase in August, we’re sponsoring Interiors Addict’s 7 Vignettes Instagram challenge for August.
Anyone can participate, and if you’re an Aussie Instagrammer, you’re eligible to win a $300 west elm gift card!
Since she started it last year, Jen Bishop’s monthly contest has simply exploded in global popularity, with over 39k images shared to date. If you haven’t yet heard about this incredible competition, well, you’ve been missing out.
How it works:
1) On August 1st, Jen will publish a list of 7 themes via her Interiors Addict blog.
2) For the next week, Instagrammers will post their most creative vignettes inspired by that day’s theme. There’s no limit to how many images you can post each day – so let your shutter go wild!
3) To enter, each post must include the #7vignettes hashtag and tag @interiorsaddict + that month’s sponsor (@westelmaus for August).
4) Each month, the guest judge picks a winner, who receives a prize. (Only Aussie residents are eligible to win, but that doesn’t stop people all over the world from taking part!)
Here’s a few of our favourite vignettes from last month:
Threes by @austrahlee
Writing by @herlibraryadventures
Lipstick by @sherylcole
Bathtime by @mich_woods
Coffee by @madebyciel
Home by @mozsas
Canadian by @katherinedorrington
And the winner for July is… @angelasteynandco with this stunning series of vignettes:
Although everyone across the globe is encouraged to participate, only Australian residents are eligible to win the prize. Aussies – take note, since we’re sponsoring the August round of 7 Vignettes, the overall winner will receive a $300 west elm gift card and two runners-up will each take home a $100 west elm gift card.
To find out what August’s themes are, be sure to sign up to the Interiors Addict weekly newsletter.
Remember, you don’t have to be an amazing stylist or photographer to take part, it’s all about having fun and interacting with a friendly, supportive community of creative Instagrammers.
