west elm is bringing more local makers + handcrafted goods to our customers!
We’re proud to announce the launch of west elm local at our Portland store. This new collection is a curated selection of home goods, leather accessories, and unique wall art from local Oregon artisans.
Haley Ann Robinson‘s geobils (aka “wall jewelry”) are made from ceramics, metal and wood. They are inspired from the lush forests of Oregon.
Nell & Mary‘s fun hand printed tea towels, napkins, pillows, and aprons are made with organic cotton, water based ink, brass hardware and leather.
Paulova Ceramic‘s salt and pepper bowls combine colorful glazes and white-wash.
Scout & Whistle combines modern design, natural history and cabin life to create beautiful textiles for your home.
Vitrified Studio‘s handmade ceramics for the kitchen are made from clay, glaze and cork.
xobruno‘s leather accessories are inspired by classic design, a unisex sensibility to create a bag that will stick around through thick and thin.
Are you a local maker? If you know of any other makers in Portland or around the country that west elm should consider for local assortments, please let us know. Email your recommendations to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
