Tracey Tilley's Breakfast Nook Transformation | west elm

When photographer Tracey Tilley first purchased her mid-century ranch house, the living room was a dark place that badly needed some love, light, and paint. You’ll be amazed how Tracey revamped the room into a bright haven, and her breakfast nook is great!

“I tore out the old carpeting, refinished the hardwood floors, and brightened up the space by painting the walls a light gray with white trim.” – Tracey Tilley

“The tripod table and jute rug are both the perfect size and proportion for a small nook. It’s my favorite spot in the house to enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee.” – Tracey Tilley

This is HUGE! The transformation is amazing. While the furniture and styling is gorgeous, this just shows how far a light, bright paint job can get you.
