Mascarpone Cream by Whimsy & Spice

A little of this goes a long way! Use this recipe for this sweetened Italian cheese to accompany Meyer Lemon Buttermilk Cake and Blueberry Lavender Compote from Whimsy & Spice.

What You’ll Need

    2 ounces mascarpone cheese
    ½ cup heavy cream
    1 tablespoon sugar

What You Do

Mix all the ingredients on medium-low speed for about five minutes. When the mixture starts to thicken slightly, gradually increase the speed until it’s the texture of whipped cream. Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate until ready to use.
