Before & After: Kendra’s Home Office + Gallery Wall
Kendra used the #mywestelm submission form to share the dramatic change to her home office. What started off as a blank slate home office, evolved into a sophisticated and elegant work space and gallery wall…
First step, paint and adding architectural details with the wainscoting. To add a touch of whimsy (and functionality) the walls were painted with chalkboard paint. Next step, accessorize…
Black, white & mirrored gallery frames from west elm helped showcase our favorite artwork. Several of the frames had the glass removed to allow people to write messages inside or create original art — if the mood so struck them. This fun and eclectic gallery display became the perfect backdrop to highlight the existing antique secretary desk.
Finishing touches were added around the room, including a vintage 1970’s globe and Industrial Task Floor Lamp. The end result — vintage, modern and elegant.
