FEATURED: ZigZag Wool Rug + Andalusian Wool Dhurrie
WHY IT WORKS: Brooke sent in images of her living room and dining room, recently designed by her sister-in-law Heather Scott. The patterned rugs help define the two unique adjacent spaces and the similar color palette unites the larger open space as a whole…

My sister-in-law, Heather, is an amazingly talented interior designer based in Austin, Texas. She gave my husband and I and incredible wedding gift — her design services for our new home! She designed our living room and dining room, and we used west elm rugs in both spaces to create a beautiful, inviting space. The two rugs — ZigZag Wool Rug and Andalusian Wool Dhurrie — were both very different, yet worked together beautifully.

Love! Those rugs make such a huge difference! I also like the round table better, as it seems more intimate.

Love the living room. The dining room looks great but went from seating 7-8 to only 4. This wouldn’t be very functional if they want to entertain there.

The rugs can hardly been credited for the change, since the furniture was all changed too…………
