I prefer the wainscoting of the before. I’m sorry. The after looks a bit plastic and cold.

Love the banquette seat… is that what you call it, but I like the before chairs better. I’d refinish the before table & chairs & add the banquette. The room is so fresh looking & I think would be so great to walk into when starting the day.

The after looks nice, but I sure hope they found another place for those chairs in the before pic! Love them!!

I agree with Dar, I don’t think it is as cozy and inviting as the before. The furniture did not work in the before space. But the plastic looking chairs look uncomfortable and is that pleather on the bench? A bright rug underneath the table and some warm accessories would be nice.

While it is true that the plastic look is not inviting for breakfast, the transformation into a natural light sun sponge is such an improvement that I think on the whole it is a better change. It does seem less home- y and inviting, but then it hasn’t been really lived in yet either.
