What’s your favorite dish to bring to a holiday potluck?

Hearty grain and vegetable salads are my go-to because they can hang out at room temperature comfortably. I’ve made this shaved brussels sprouts salad in different variations a few times this season and it pleases even the fiercest brassica doubters.

Sweet Potatoes vs. Mashed Potatoes?

I bat for both teams. Mashed sweet potatoes with maple and orange zest… now we’re talking.

Favorite weird holiday leftover meal?

Anything warmed with a poached egg on top.

What’s another blog that inspires your food POV?

Oh, so many. I am constantly learning from the techniques, ideas, and grace of all members of this food community. I always look forward to reading new posts from House to Haus, Delightful Crumb, Sprouted Kitchen, The First Mess, and The Yellow House.

Thanks Kelsey!
