FEATURED: Patchwork Dresser
WHY IT WORKS: Versatile storage is a welcome addition to almost any room! At her home in Arlington, Virginia designer Nicole Lanteri uses west elm’s Patchwork Dresser as a bar in her dining room…
A mix of 6 different wood finishes and veneers, the Patchwork Dresser helps to visually unite and pull together a room with various wood finishes and offer attractive storage with 5 drawers and a cabinet!
We love the buffet/bar — it’s great storage and I like how it ties the neutral tones in the middle living space together.

Love this room! What is the art on the walls above the dresser?

I’m a FAN. I like the non-traditional use of the dresser and still the functionality in the space. It works brilliantly and truly takes center stage!

Thanks, Andrea and Phebe! Andrea — the art is actually from West Elm too. Last winter they displayed these pieces in the store for a limited time that are some sort of plaster material with different shaped mirrored pieces on them. When the sun shines in the room it casts this wonderful glow over the mirrored pieces and reflects so nicely. – Nicole
