Our favorite food bloggers inspire us to cook at home and make us hungry every day. We wanted to know them a little better. So we’re getting together to chat all throughout the Holidays!
Jacqui Scoggin of Good Things Grow cooks vibrant seasonal food that looks absolutely incredible. Which makes sense, since Jacqui is also a pro designer along with her husband at their very own Pacific Northwest studio, Slide Sideways. Read on for her answers to our holiday food questions…
What’s your favorite dish to bring to a Holiday potluck?
My favorite dish to bring is pumpkin pie. Last year I made one with a hazelnut crust that went over very well. I also always like to make sure there’s lots of roasted vegetables.
Sweet Potatoes vs. Mashed Potatoes?
Generally I love sweet potatoes over regular potatoes, but when it comes to Thanksgiving I choose the mashed potatoes.
Favorite weird Thanksgiving leftover meal?
Nothing weird. Just lots of pie for breakfast.
What’s another blog that inspires your food POV?
I’d have to say Heidi at 101cookbooks is a favorite.
Thanks Jacqui!

Love this! I am always looking to show off at a potluck! I seem to get invited to many of them – throughout the year – so I am always looking for recipes that capture my best efforts. Thank you – I am inspired!
