Last month, west elm joined the students of PS 328 in Brooklyn to finish painting a 200-foot mural that the kids developed along with CITYarts, a public art program here in New York. The mural is called “Red Road to Mars,” and the heavy outer-space theme was chosen to inspire future students to “reach for the stars.” It was great to give back to our home borough and make PS 328′s schoolyard a lot more colorful.
