FEATURED: Henry Sofa + Foxed Mirror Coffee Table + Square Gallery Frames
WHY IT WORKS: What a lovely space! The living room of this small carriage house in Rye, New York was designed by Brittany Zachos of Zachos Design Group. Brittany used a classic Henry Sofa and bounced more light around with the Foxed Mirror Coffee Table

As an Interior Designer, my favorite element of designing is the layering of different styles, textures and colors within a specific space. For particular clients I know where to shop immediately — west elm! What my clients love about my style is the ability to mix up traditional and modern pieces, whether through actual furniture pieces, or the materials and accessories I use. The goal for this Rye, New York carriage house was to maintain neutral elements and accent with pops of color — giving the room a bright and airy feeling in such a small space.

I am 99.9% sure those curtains are from Target! Love them, too and am going to use them in our new breakfast nook remodel 😉

She’s a great DECORATOR but is hardly an interior designer. Its a nice budget makeover. Sewing in tabs on the curtain tops would make them look “designer-quality” and hang much better, they are bunched up funny at the top which makes them look like homemade curtains that my mom made for cheap.
