These hand printed aquatints by New York based artist and Etsy seller Robin Sherin showcase her expert’s grasp of tone and composition in a restrained and minimalist style. Robin’s work is based on urban landscapes and cityscapes — her etchings take on the physical attributes of skylines and buildings the more you look at them!
Robin works in a studio in Manhattan and in addition to her prints, also shows drawings and collages. You can see more of her work — including drawings and sketchbooks — on her site, RobinSherin.com.
A selection of Robin’s aquatints are featured in the new west elm catalog — page 109 of 2012 catalog #1. See how our stylists paired Robin’s artwork with other furniture, accessories and lighting from west elm: Etsy: Handmade at Home
