FEATURED: Parsons Desk + Organic Chevron Duvet
WHY IT WORKS: Designer Dayka Robinson re-imagined her sister’s master bedroom to function both as a bedroom and a small home office. In the current arrangement, the sleek Parsons Desk is doing double duty as a desk and a nightstand. The graphic Chevron Duvet adds another layer of pattern to the stylish bed and pulls in the black from the accent wall…
As someone who works from home and frequently entertains with dinner parties and out-of-town guests, my sister’s master bedroom served as a great place to carve out some additional work space when guests are in town. Even though she’s in an apartment, she’s used to NYC living where tenants are allowed to paint (and pretty much do as they please), so we painted a black accent wall and relied on textiles and accessories for an added pop of color.
