A self-described “compulsive re-decorator,” Meredith Regan amazed us with her creative customization of a $40 storage ottoman she found on Craigslist. Why did this DIY grab our attention?…
Meredith chose to reupholster her bargain find with west elm’s Butterfly Shower Curtain! The 100% cotton shower curtain printed with a flora and butterfly design was a much more affordable option for large scale print that Meredith wanted.

That is AWESOME! I have a similar storage ottoman that was damaged by my cat and was going to toss out. But now I’m inspired! I and going to get that thing out of the shed and fix it up to look like yours. And I LOVE the buttons & tufting detail. Bravo!

My husband and I just bought a new house and I’ve had that shower curtain for over a year and love it! But it doesn’t really go with the tile in the bathroom with a shower rod. Not wanting to gt rid of it, this is a great idea! Love it.
