WHY IT WORKS: Texture & Scale! This is a tiny studio apartment that Ellie was able to dress up and create a luxurious small living space. Inspired by boutique hotels, Ellie was successful in layering a lot of beautiful pieces so that they work together. At only 17″ diameter, the bone tile table slides next to her studio sofa — offering a new surface that adds a circle to a predominately angular scenario and also adds a new texture and luxurious finish. As an added bonus, the dark iron legs melt away against the dark paint.
